MONDAY:

Bingo: The Alcona County Commission on Aging hosts Bingo the first and third Monday of every month at 2pm in the Senior Center Dining Hall, 207 South Church Street, Lincoln. Coffee and popcorn available too.

 

Community Supper: The Collective by Tawas Wellness hosts a Community Supper The first Monday of each month from 4-6:30pm at 821 Newman Street, East Tawas with a menu with burgers and seafood and weekly special. To go orders at 989-305-6322.

 

Bingo: The Mikado Goodfellows host Bingo Mondays at the Civic Center on F-41. Doors open at 4pm, Bingo at 6:30pm. Food available for purchase. Proceeds to Charity.

 

Bunko and Darts: American Legion Post #422 invites everyone to play the dice game Bunko the first and third Monday of every month at 5:30pm and Darts at 6pm, at the Post, 429 West Main Street, Hale. All are welcome. For more information call 989-728-5055.

TUESDAY:

Bingo: The Sand Lake Seniors host Bingo Tuesdays in the Sand Lake Heights Building, 4059 Indian Lake Road, National City. Doors open at 11am, Bingo starts at noon. Proceeds to the Sand Lake Seniors.

 

Euchre: The Alcona County Commission on Aging hosts Euchre Day, Tuesdays beginning at 12:30pm, at the Senior Center, 207 South Church Street, Lincoln. Tickets one dollar, 10 cents per Euchre, free popcorn and coffee. Call 989-334-3466 for more information.

 

THURSDAY:

Bingo: The Hale VFW hosts Bingo Thursdays at their hall, 203 Ainsley Street, Hale. Doors open at 4pm, Bingo starts at 6pm: 

 

Line Dancing: "Thursday Night at the V" Line Dancing Class will be held Thursdays from 6-8pm at VFW Post #3735 at 240 Chrysler Road in Oscoda. 

 

FRIDAY:

Bingo: The Sand Lake Heights Community Association host bingo every Friday at the Sand Lake Heights Building at 4059 Indian Lake Road, National City. Doors open at 5pm, bingo starts at 6pm

 

Euchre: American Legion Post #422 invites everyone to play Euchre every Friday at 6pm at the post, 429 West Main Street in Hale. Food available for purchase too.

 

A Farmer’s Market will be held Fridays from 9am-2pm at Riverside Park in AuGres from May 15th-September 25th. For vendor information call AuGres City Hall at 989-876-8811.

The Our Lady of the Woods Shrine is hosting their 5K Run Walk at Wolf Creek Trail near Mio, Saturday, June 20th. Registration at 9am, event starts at 10am. Cost is a minimum $50 donation to support the Lady of the Woods Shrine off M-72 in Mio. For more information call 989-826-5509.

The West Branch Community Airport & EAA Chapter 1253 presents the Annual Fly-In Saturday, June 20th, 8am-Noon at the airport, 1519 West Airport Road, in West Branch. Pancake Breakfast $8, kids 5-11 $5, under 5 free. Candy Drop for kids at 10am. Plus C-47 Airplane Rides for a fee, and see helicopters and classic cars!

The “Market For One More” Craft Show and Farm market will be held Saturday, June 20th, 10am-2pm, in the Harbor Church parking lot, 311 East Lincoln Street, East Tawas. Homemade goods, local grown and delicious food. All proceeds to the “One Million For One More” movement and rebuild of Harbor Church.

Sterling Area Health Center and the School Community Health Alliance will host a free food distribution Monday, June 22nd, 1pm until gone at Surline Elementary School, 147 West State Street, West Branch. All in need are welcome.

The Arenac County Historical Society presents “The Hello Girls”, Michigan Women’s History as switchboard operators in World War One with Lois Sprengnether-Keel, Tuesday, June 23rd, 7pm, at the Arenac County Historical Museum, 304 East Michigan Avenue, AuGres. Free and open to everyone. Refreshments will be served. Sponsored in part by the Iosco Arenac District Library.

 

Lakeview Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation will host a “Paws, Play & Ice Cream Day”, Wednesday, June 24th, Noon-3pm, at the facility, 408 North 5th Avenue, Tawas City. Sunrise Animal Rescue will have pets for adoption and collecting pet food donations, Blackbird Ice Creamery will have homemade ice cream and a bounce house for the kids. Bring the family for an enjoyable afternoon of family fun and adoption.

 

The Oscoda Area Convention & Visitor Bureau will host free “Movie Night At The Pier”, Wednesdays at Oscoda Township beach. Movie starts at dusk, with music and games a half hour before the movie. Bring lawn chairs, blankets & snacks:

Unsalted & Unscripted” Open Mic Night will be held Wednesday, June 24th, 7pm, at Tilly’s in downtown East Tawas. Those 16 and older can come share poetry, music, funny stories or just listen!

 

Friday, June 26th is Kid’s Day at the Lumberman’s Monument Visitor’s Center, 5401 Monument Road, Oscoda. At 1pm Trout Unlimited will teach kids about the importance of waterways ecology and micro invertebrates. For more information call 989-362-8961.
