I was born in Chicago, Illinois and grew up in the suburbs. I attended college at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb graduating with a degree in communications. My first radio job was an announcer with radio station WIVS in Crystal Lake, Illinois. I became the news director for WMCW in Harvard, Illinois after that, before making my move to Michigan. I worked for "Big Ox Country", WXOX in Bay City before moving to WGER in Saginaw as the night time Jazz host.I moved to WKJC in November of 1990 as the afternoon announcer.I met my wife, Chris, in May of 1991 and we were married in February of 1992 and have two boys, William and Bradley. I've been the morning man since 1994 when I became the program director and have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Yes, I am a long suffering Chicago Cubs fan but love the Tigers too!
