Marc VanPetten from Roscommon bagged an 8 point in Ogemaw County! Woke up late it was raining, had a 10 mile drive to my hunting spot. Got to my spot at 7:20 well after daylight jumped 4 doe going out. Thought it was a waste of time but it was the first day of my vacation and decided to sit in the piece and quiet. At 9:18 I seen movement North West of me. Picked up my crossbow thinking the entire time it was going to be a doe. It took a couple more steps I seen antlers. Put my crossbow in my tripod shooting stick. By now he's getting in to and opening. Then he stopped and turned head on to me looking straight at me I thought he's going to run. He turned slightly and I sent it. Double lung ran about 70 yards. : 8 point Ogemaw county
