Jordyn Glesken from Chesaning baggedan 8 point in Saginaw County! My husband tagged out during bow season so he took me out opening day. We got into our spot pretty early hoping the neighbors walking in would send some deer our way. It was barely 7:30 and this buck came in about 60 yards away and he was moving pretty quickly and by the time I had got my gun pulled up and out the window, the buck had already passed through my biggest shooting lane. My husband grunted at it to stop it but we had different angles and he stopped it in an opening to him but the deer was right behind a tree for me. He started walking again and I told my husband to grunt again hoping it would stop him in an opening and not scare him off, he grunted and the buck stopped for a brief second and all I could see was the front shoulder forward the rest was behind a tree. I let him have it! I wasn’t even sure how big he was at that point it happened so fast. He took off running into some thicket and I was nervous I hit him too far forward in the brisket so we waited a few hours and then got down and he was laying about 40yards from where I shot him! I was super pumped, it was the first deer shot out of the shack we were in, that my husband and I built together last summer. Big Buck Down
