Saganing Traditional Pow Wow

The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe’s “Honoring Saganing Traditional Pow Wow” will be held:

 

Saturday, June 25th 11am-Dusk

Sunday, June 26th 11am-Dusk

 

Grand Entry at 1pm each day at the Pow Wow Reservation Grounds, next to Saganing Eagles Landing Casino & Hotel on Worth Road in Standish. Native traders and food vendors and rustic camping available. Daily entry $3, weekend pass $5, kids $1.

Food Plots & Habitat Event

From 9:00AM to 12:00PM

The Northern Jack Branch of the QDMA, The Ogemaw Hills QDM Co-op and Michigan DNR will sponsor a presentation on "Food Plots & Habitat" Saturday, February 23rd, 9am-Noon at Ogemaw Heights High School. Speakers, gun and 50/50 raffles. Admission is $5 per person. For more information call 989-326-2626.

Oscoda Red Cross Blood Drive

Tawas High School Project Graduation 2019

From 1:00PM to 5:00PM

Euchre Tournament. Cost is $15/person. $1 "loner" hands and $0.25 for each Euchre. Each player plays for themselves, no partner needed. There will be other raffles as well. Pay out goes to the top 1st and 2nd place and the last place player. REGISTRATION begins at 1:00, PLAY begins at 2:00.

Taco Night Fundraiser

A Taco Night Fundraiser will be held Saturday, February 23rd, 5-7pm, at the Holy Family Parish Hall in East Tawas. Proceeds benefit the Holy Family Guatemala Mission Trip. Sponsored by the Knights of Columbus.

Shoreline Players Murder Mystery Dinner Theater

The Shoreline Players present "Mystery & Mayhem in Maui" an interactive murder mystery dinner Saturday, February 23rd, 5:30pm, at the Camp Inn Lodge, U.S. 23, Oscoda. The 7th Annual Luzerne Predator Roundup will be held February 22nd-24th. The coyote, fox and bobcat hunt starts February 22nd at 6pm at American Legion Post 162 in Luzerne. Check in by 3pm February 24th at Luzerne Hardware. An Awards Banquet will follow at American Legion Post 162 in Luzerne. Pre-registration $40, $50 after 5pm February 15th.
