Saganing Traditional Pow Wow

The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe’s “Honoring Saganing Traditional Pow Wow” will be held:

 

Saturday, June 25th 11am-Dusk

Sunday, June 26th 11am-Dusk

 

Grand Entry at 1pm each day at the Pow Wow Reservation Grounds, next to Saganing Eagles Landing Casino & Hotel on Worth Road in Standish. Native traders and food vendors and rustic camping available. Daily entry $3, weekend pass $5, kids $1.

Oscoda Red Cross Blood Drive

Middle school Tip Night

From 4:00PM to 7:00PM

The Tawas Area Middle School's 8th Grade will host a Tip night Tuesday, November 20th 4-7pm, at G's Pizzeria in East Tawas. All proceeds will help offset the cost of the class's educational field trip to Washington D.C.

Human Trafficking Presentation

The presentation "Human Trafficking: What You Need To Know" will be held Tuesday, November 20th, 7pm, at Whittemore Prescott High School Auditorium, 6001 Mills Road, Whittemore. Presenters include Shane Noble of the Michigan State Police and Deborah Williams of the Human Trafficking Community Group. Free and open to the public.
