Saganing Traditional Pow Wow

The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe’s “Honoring Saganing Traditional Pow Wow” will be held:

 

Saturday, June 25th 11am-Dusk

Sunday, June 26th 11am-Dusk

 

Grand Entry at 1pm each day at the Pow Wow Reservation Grounds, next to Saganing Eagles Landing Casino & Hotel on Worth Road in Standish. Native traders and food vendors and rustic camping available. Daily entry $3, weekend pass $5, kids $1.

Tawas Band Bazaar

November 17th, 2018 at Tawas Area High School. 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 44th Annual Tawas Band Bazaar and Craft Show. Over 100 Vendor tables. No admission fee. Freshly baked apple dumplings for sale or buy frozen to take home for later. 50/50 raffles every hour. Live music. Everything home made or hand crafted.

Veterans Recognition Breakfast

Michigan Works Region 7B Consortium will host a Veteran's Recognition Breakfast Thursday, November 8th, 8-10am at Riverwalk Place on M-61 in Gladwin. Visit a Michigan Works office in Standish, Harrison, Gladwin, East Tawas, West Branch or Prudenville for registration information.  

Masons Pasty Sale

The Tawas Masonic Lodge will be selling beef pasties with gravy for $5 each, Thursday, November 8th beginning at 9am, at the Lodge on m-55 in Tawas City.

Oscoda Red Cross Blood Drive

Human Trafficking Presentation

A presentation on "Human Trafficking: What You Need To Know" with Trooper Shane Noble of the Michigan State Police, will be held Thursday, November 8th, 6pm, at Oscoda High School, 3550 River Road. Free and open to the public. Sponsored by the Oscoda Rotary Club.

Sunrise Side Lifelong Learning Trip

Sunrise Side Lifelong Learning will host a trip to "Christmas at Crossroads Holiday magic" in Flint Friday, November 30th from 1:30-10pm.
