Saganing Traditional Pow Wow

The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe’s “Honoring Saganing Traditional Pow Wow” will be held:

 

Saturday, June 25th 11am-Dusk

Sunday, June 26th 11am-Dusk

 

Grand Entry at 1pm each day at the Pow Wow Reservation Grounds, next to Saganing Eagles Landing Casino & Hotel on Worth Road in Standish. Native traders and food vendors and rustic camping available. Daily entry $3, weekend pass $5, kids $1.

Spectacular Summer Bazaar

From 10:00AM to 4:00PM

A Spectacular Summer Bazaar will be held Saturday, July 28th, 10am-4pm, at Zion Lutheran Church, 720 2nd Street in Tawas City. Vendors, Mom 2 Mom items, Junk in your Trunk, Bake Sale and lunch will be available for purchase between 11am-2pm. Money raised will help the youth group for their National Gathering Trip to Minneapolis. For more information call 362-5712.

Tawas Elks Golf Outing

The Tawas Elks Scholarship Golf Outing will be held Saturday, July 28th at Tawas Creek Golf Course in Tawas City. Registration for the 18 hole four person team scramble is at 9am with coffee and donuts, shotgun start at 11am with hot dogs and chips at the turn and prizes. Cost is $35 per person. A steak dinner will be offered afterwards for an additional $15 per person. Proceeds to local scholarships. To register call 362-6262. 

Lumberman's Monument Nature Hike

Richland Logan Fire Department Celebration

The Richland/Logan Fire Department will host a celebration of the tenth anniversary of the millage renewal which made the new fire department possible. The party will be held Saturday, July 28th, noon-4pm at the fire hall on Sage Lake Road with free tours, fun, food and drinks.
