Saganing Traditional Pow Wow

The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe’s “Honoring Saganing Traditional Pow Wow” will be held:

 

Saturday, June 25th 11am-Dusk

Sunday, June 26th 11am-Dusk

 

Grand Entry at 1pm each day at the Pow Wow Reservation Grounds, next to Saganing Eagles Landing Casino & Hotel on Worth Road in Standish. Native traders and food vendors and rustic camping available. Daily entry $3, weekend pass $5, kids $1.

Oscoda Red Cross Blood Drive

Project Graduation Tip Night

The Senior Class of Tawas Area High School will host a Tip Night at G's Pizzeria in East Tawas Tuesday, February 19th from 5-8pm. All proceeds will benefit Tawas Project Graduation.

Cabin Fever Author Series

Friends of the East Tawas Library Cabin fever Series presents Michigan author Joe Grimm speaking on his work "The Faygo Book" Tuesday, February 19th, 6pm, in the East Tawas City Council Chambers, 760 Newman Street, East Tawas. Free and open to the public. Faygo floats will be served and book sales and signing follows the program. The program is sponsored by the Iosco Arenac District Library.
