The 4-H Jr. Market Livestock informational meeting is for families with children ages 8-19 that are interested in raising and selling a market animal at the Iosco County Fair in July 2019. The informational meeting will be held on Monday, November 19, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at Eagle Pointe Plaza in Hale. There is no cost to attend the meeting. Refreshments will be provided. Families will have the chance to meet the leaders and 4-H staff, and learn about what it takes to be eligible to market a project animal. Project animal species include market rabbits, broilers, turkeys, laying hens, market steers, market lambs, and market hogs.
