Saganing Traditional Pow Wow

The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe’s “Honoring Saganing Traditional Pow Wow” will be held:

 

Saturday, June 25th 11am-Dusk

Sunday, June 26th 11am-Dusk

 

Grand Entry at 1pm each day at the Pow Wow Reservation Grounds, next to Saganing Eagles Landing Casino & Hotel on Worth Road in Standish. Native traders and food vendors and rustic camping available. Daily entry $3, weekend pass $5, kids $1.

Oscoda Red Cross Blood Drive

East Tawas Ribbon Cutting

A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to celebrate the completion of the two year East Tawas State Harbor reconstruction project will be held Wednesday, August 1st, 1pm, at the Harbor, 113 Newman Street, East Tawas. Refreshments will be served. The event is rain or shine.

Nautilus LIVE! Explore the Ocean LIVE with Dr. Rob

East Tawas Fire Dept Open House

From 5:00PM to 8:00PM

The East Tawas Fire Department will host an Open House Wednesday, August 1st from 5-8pm, at 122 West Main Street in East Tawas. Free blood pressure and blood sugar checks, members will be showing fire equipment, presentations on "Stop the Bleed" teaching the public what to do in case of a bleeding emergency and the upcoming 911 millage. All are welcome to attend.

A BLT Dinner will be held Wednesday, August 1st, 5-7pm, at Barton City Eagles Lodge, 671 Sanborn Road. BLT, salad and dessert $6. Call 736-3050 for more information.
