The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe’s “Honoring Saganing Traditional Pow Wow” will be held:

Grand Entry at 1pm each day at the Pow Wow Reservation Grounds, next to Saganing Eagles Landing Casino & Hotel on Worth Road in Standish. Native traders and food vendors and rustic camping available. Daily entry $3, weekend pass $5, kids $1.

ORV Safety Class

From 9:30AM to 3:30PM

ORV Safety Class, Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 9:30am-3:30pm. Class is required by MI Law for all youth under the age of 16, who are operating an ORV on Public land. Class is sponsored and instructed by the AuSable Valley Trialriders and is Free to all. All class materials will be provided as well as Pizza for lunch. Splash Pad Golf Fundraiser

Rose City Area Festivals and Events will host a “Splash Pad Fund” four person golf scramble Saturday, May 19th at Green Briar Golf Course, 3379 Sage Lake Road in Lupton. Shotgun start at 9:30am. Cost is $50 per person and includes golf, lunch and prizes. For more information call 989-934-0651.

Native Plant Sale

The Friends of Tawas Point Lighthouse & State Park and Sunrise Side Master Gardener Association will sponsor a Native Plant Sale Saturday, May 19th, 10am-4pm, or while supplies last, at Tawas Point State Park, near the Lighthouse, in East Tawas.
