Saganing Traditional Pow Wow

The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe’s “Honoring Saganing Traditional Pow Wow” will be held:

 

Saturday, June 25th 11am-Dusk

Sunday, June 26th 11am-Dusk

 

Grand Entry at 1pm each day at the Pow Wow Reservation Grounds, next to Saganing Eagles Landing Casino & Hotel on Worth Road in Standish. Native traders and food vendors and rustic camping available. Daily entry $3, weekend pass $5, kids $1.

Spring Bazaar

From 10:00AM to 2:00PM

A Spectacular Spring Bazaar will be held Saturday, May 5th, 10am-2pm, at Tawas United Methodist Church, 20 M-55, Tawas City. Crafters, Vendors, Mom 2 Mom, farm animals, face painting, rock painting, bounce house and pulled pork lunch combo. Proceeds benefit 4-H Clover Bud Club. For vendor information call 254-4907.

Oscoda Red Cross Blood Drive

From 12:00PM to 9:14PM

Glennie Benefit Dinner

From 3:30PM to 7:00PM

A Benefit dinner for Alyce Stedry, who recently had major strokes, will be held Saturday, May 5th, 3:30-7pm, at Lott Baptist Church, 4257 South State Road in Glennie. Mostaccioli and salad dinner plus raffles, auction and bake sale. Cost is a $5 donation at the door, children 5 and under free. 

Michigan Bushcraft Spring Gathering

The Michigan Bushcraft Spring Gathering will be held at Lumberman's Monument, at River and Monument Roads, Oscoda:

Hunter Safety Class

A Hunter's Safety Class will be held at M-65 Bait Shop, just north of M-55 in Whittemore, Friday, May 4th 4:30-9pm and Saturday, May 5th 9am-5pm. The class is free and you must attend both days. Class size limited to fifty people. For more information stop into M-65 Bait Shop or call 756-3651.
