Saganing Traditional Pow Wow

The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe’s “Honoring Saganing Traditional Pow Wow” will be held:

 

Saturday, June 25th 11am-Dusk

Sunday, June 26th 11am-Dusk

 

Grand Entry at 1pm each day at the Pow Wow Reservation Grounds, next to Saganing Eagles Landing Casino & Hotel on Worth Road in Standish. Native traders and food vendors and rustic camping available. Daily entry $3, weekend pass $5, kids $1.

DEAN ARBOUR FORD OF TAWAS CITY AND KJC COUNTRY 104.7FM WILL HOLD A SPECIAL "DRIVE 4 UR SCHOOL" FUNDRAISER FOR TAWAS AREA HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR CLASS "PROJECT GRADUATION". SATURDAY, APRIL 28TH FROM 10AM-2PM, COME TO TAWAS AREA HIGH SCHOOL ON M-55 AND FOR EVERY TEST DRIVE OF A NEW FORD VEHICLE, $20 WILL BE DONATED TOWARD PROJECT GRADUATION. MUST BE 18 OR OLDER WITH A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE.

Oscoda Red Cross Blood Drive

The Raptors Are Coming

The Curtis Township Library will host "The Raptors Are Coming" with licensed falconer and wildlife educator, Jennifer Schroeder, Saturday, April 28th, 1pm, at the library, 4884 Bamfield Road in Glennie. The program is free and open to the public. Call 335-1361 for more information.

Blue Marlins synchronized swimming show

The Blue Marlins synchronized swimming team will be preforming a show to the theme splash dance. The 14 swimmers range in age from 7 to 53. Friday April 27th 7pm at Oscoda high school pool and a 2nd show Saturday April 28th at 4pm.
