Saganing Traditional Pow Wow

The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe’s “Honoring Saganing Traditional Pow Wow” will be held:

 

Saturday, June 25th 11am-Dusk

Sunday, June 26th 11am-Dusk

 

Grand Entry at 1pm each day at the Pow Wow Reservation Grounds, next to Saganing Eagles Landing Casino & Hotel on Worth Road in Standish. Native traders and food vendors and rustic camping available. Daily entry $3, weekend pass $5, kids $1.

Michigan Predator Quest

7:00AM

The 6th annual Michigan Predator Quest statewide game calling competition will be held Thursday, February 1st 7pm through Saturday, February 3rd at 7pm. Cost is $55 per person for the 1-3 man team. Scoring is 100 points for a bobcat, 75 for a fox and 50 for a coyote. Cash prizes to the top 3 teams with remaining funds distributed among hunters for all animals harvested. A prime rib dinner for all hunters after the hunt at the Ogemaw County Fairgrounds. Registration deadline is Thursday, February 25th. Perchville Vendor & Craft Show

February 3rd from 10 am to 4pm Tawas Masonic Lodge 40 W M55 Tawas City Local vendors and crafters all in one spot. Come out of the cold for a fun day of shopping! First 50 shoppers will receive a grab bag full of goodies!

Outdoor Expo

Mike Avery's Outdoor Expo will be held Saturday, February 3rd at the Forward Conference Center in West Branch from 11am-5pm. Exhibitors from Darton Archery, J&K Fur Exchange and others. Plus ice and spring fishing experts and guides. Presentations on Michigan Turkey Hunting, Predator Hunting, Northern Michigan Trapping, Walleye 101, Food Plots and Outdoor Women.
