My name is Betty Klug and I am looking for high school students to participate in a research program that I am conducting for my PhD dissertation at Capella University. The purpose of the research is to examine the significance of including an orientation program before using a virtual world as a classroom for learners with Dyslexia or AD/HD. The classes are held in a virtual world, which offers a safe, flexible environment. Students should be self-reported AD/HD, or Dyslexic. The participation of a total of 20-40 hours is required by the student, which will consist of about 2-3 weeks, 5 days a week for 2-2.5 hours a day attending class or doing activities online in the virtual world. The age requirement for participants is 13 to 20 years old. Students must have access to a computer with high-speed internet. The students do not need to be in school at this time but they must not have received a High School diploma and not have completed high school biology if you are interested in participating in this study or would like more information, please contact me on Facebook (Betty Klug), call 989-728-6490 or email me at mklug2@capellauniversity.edu
