Saganing Traditional Pow Wow

The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe’s “Honoring Saganing Traditional Pow Wow” will be held:

 

Saturday, June 25th 11am-Dusk

Sunday, June 26th 11am-Dusk

 

Grand Entry at 1pm each day at the Pow Wow Reservation Grounds, next to Saganing Eagles Landing Casino & Hotel on Worth Road in Standish. Native traders and food vendors and rustic camping available. Daily entry $3, weekend pass $5, kids $1.

COUNTY LINE WESLEYAN CHURCH IN TWINING WILL HOLD A BAKE SALE SATURDAY, MAY 13TH, 9AM-1PM, AT THE TRACTOR SUPPLY STORE IN WEST BRANCH. IT INCLUDES FRESH HOMEMADE TORTILLAS, CINNAMON ROLLS, NOVELTY BREADS, PIES, CANDY AND MORE. ALL PROCEEDS WILL BE USED TO HELP SEND KIDS TO WHISPERING HOPE RANCH CAMP.

Family Wellness Celebration

A EUCHRE TOURNAMENT WILL BE HELD SATURDAY, MAY 13TH AT THE OSCODA AUSABLE SENIOR CENTER, 653 STATE STREET SOUTHWEST IN OSCODA. LUNCH SERVED AT NOON, CARDS START AT 1PM. ENTRY FEE IS $10 PLUS 25 CENTS PER SET. LUNCH INCLUDED IN THE ENTRY FEE. PAY OUT FOR FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD PLACES.

DOORS OPEN AT 4:30PM, DINNER AT 5PM FOLLOWED BY AN EVENING OF ENTERTAINMENT, LIVE DESSERT AUCTION AND BUCKET DROP RAFFLE. COST IS BY DONATION AND WILL BENEFIT JANE, A YOUNG MISSIONARY IN KENYA, WHO SURVIVED AN ACID ATTACK FOR MEDICAL EXPENSES. TO RSVP CALL 989-310-6055.

Patchwork Art & Music Festival

The Patchwork Art & Music Festival is being held in the Red Room of The Dow Event Center on Saturday, May 13 at 4:00 pm featuring live music, art & vendors.
