Saganing Traditional Pow Wow

The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe’s “Honoring Saganing Traditional Pow Wow” will be held:

 

Saturday, June 25th 11am-Dusk

Sunday, June 26th 11am-Dusk

 

Grand Entry at 1pm each day at the Pow Wow Reservation Grounds, next to Saganing Eagles Landing Casino & Hotel on Worth Road in Standish. Native traders and food vendors and rustic camping available. Daily entry $3, weekend pass $5, kids $1.

Creation, Evolution and Dinosaurs Seminar

Well known creation science speaker Dr. Kent Hovind is coming to northern Michigan! Friday July 8 and 9 at Ogemaw Heights High School. Friday doors open at 4 pm, Saturday doors open at 8 am. Operation LZ Michgan Welcome Vietnam Vets

Held on the grounds of Wurtsmith Air Museum, 4071 E. VanEttan St., Oscoda. Michigan Vietnam Memorial Wall, Huey helicpoter and other aircraft visit, helicopter rides available, many exhibits and vendors, nightly entertainment- all free to the public. Museum will be open extended hours. Small admission charged.
