Her cargo was rumored to be military supplies destined for Civil War battlefields and gold coins.   10:00AM 4:00PM Trout Opener 2014   The Lovells Township Historical Society presents its 12th annual Trout Opener, April 26th, 2014 10am to 4pm at the Lovells Township Complex. Local Artists and crafters will displaying there wares. Visit the new ‘Hunting in the North Branch Watershed’ and ‘Fly Reels’ exhibits in the Trout Fishing Museum and in the Lone Pine Schoolhouse, the ‘Hartwig Family’ exhibit. Run in the Leaky Wader 1K Fun Run at 11am. Lunch provided at no charge but donations greatly appreciated. It’s Fun for the whole family. Pull on your waders and bring your friends and neighbors. Registration begins at 10 am, at the Lovells Township Complex, 8405 Twin Bridges Rd, Grayling (F97 just north of County 612). Event Fee $20.00 includes the run, souvenir hat, and lunch. Prizes for the first 3 places, male and female, as well as random drawings.
