Saganing Traditional Pow Wow

The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe’s “Honoring Saganing Traditional Pow Wow” will be held:

 

Saturday, June 25th 11am-Dusk

Sunday, June 26th 11am-Dusk

 

Grand Entry at 1pm each day at the Pow Wow Reservation Grounds, next to Saganing Eagles Landing Casino & Hotel on Worth Road in Standish. Native traders and food vendors and rustic camping available. Daily entry $3, weekend pass $5, kids $1.

Presentation: Identifying Spiritual Pain

Hospice Angelic Care Chaplain Br. Mike Whitman will present “Identifying Spiritual Pain” on March 5, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Seeds for the Soul, 104 E. Cedar Street, Standish, Michigan. The presentation will provide insight on looking within to conquer Spiritual Pain issues affecting outer self from having a peaceful life. Br. Mike will provide specific examples on Spiritual Despair and Spiritual Distress. Following the presentation, attendee may share in group discussion.
