The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe’s “Honoring Saganing Traditional Pow Wow” will be held:

 

Saturday, June 25th 11am-Dusk

Sunday, June 26th 11am-Dusk

 

Grand Entry at 1pm each day at the Pow Wow Reservation Grounds, next to Saganing Eagles Landing Casino & Hotel on Worth Road in Standish. Native traders and food vendors and rustic camping available. Daily entry $3, weekend pass $5, kids $1.

TAHS's Brave Children's Theatre Company will present their spring play THE JUNGLE BOOK on May 18th & 19th, 2013. Show times are 10AM & 1PM daily. Car Wash, Bake Sale and Fireman's Burgers

Car wash, bake sale, and the famous Grant Township Firefighters's hamburgers to be held at the Grant Township Fire Department. All proceeeds to benefit Relay For Life of Iosco County. There will be a charge for the fireman's burgers; the car wash and bake sale will be by donation. Please support Relay For Life and the American Cancer Society!

Oscoda River Run 5k fun run/walk

Event held at Oscoda's River Bank Park on River Road across from Oscoda Canoe Rental. Starting at 9 am. Cost is $22 (pre-registered) or $25 on site registration. Registration forms can be found on the Oscoda Schools web site and all proceeds benefit Oscoda Swim programs.
