Saganing Traditional Pow Wow

The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe’s “Honoring Saganing Traditional Pow Wow” will be held:

 

Saturday, June 25th 11am-Dusk

Sunday, June 26th 11am-Dusk

 

Grand Entry at 1pm each day at the Pow Wow Reservation Grounds, next to Saganing Eagles Landing Casino & Hotel on Worth Road in Standish. Native traders and food vendors and rustic camping available. Daily entry $3, weekend pass $5, kids $1.

Fresh Start

The Iosco Poverty Reduction Coalition will help community members learn how to prepare and cook simple meals from garden produce. Recipes available. A booth will be at the Oscoda Farmers Market. Help stretch food dollars on Wednesday, July 25, from 9-2 pm, at the Oscoda Farmers Market. This FREE opportunity is partially funded from a grant of the Iosco County Community Foundation.
